Professional Licensing and State Board Requirements: FITI assumes no responsibility for state board regulations or requirements for medical and dental professionals. It is the sole responsibility of practitioners to understand and comply with the regulations set by their respective medical, dental, or nursing state boards. Practitioners must determine whether they are legally permitted to purchase prescription-based or controlled medications and use them in their practice, as well as during our hands-on workshops. Additionally, it is up to practitioners to confirm if they are authorized to perform the procedures taught in our courses and in their own practices. FITI is not liable for any regulations or changes implemented by professional state boards.
Each practitioner is responsible for documenting patient diagnoses and treatment practices during the workshops to ensure that patients are properly diagnosed and treated, including maintaining records of the process. Practitioners performing procedures must be fully licensed and adhere to complete standards of care, which include, but are not limited to, a thorough patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment plan. During training with FITI, practitioners are expected to use their independent professional judgment in diagnosing and treating patients. FITI assumes no responsibility for patient care and does not provide medical, dental, or legal advice.
Each participant is responsible for understanding and complying with the local, state, and federal laws or guidelines related to licensure requirements applicable to their practice of medicine or other healthcare services in their home state. Any questions regarding the practice of medicine or the provision of healthcare services should be directed to the relevant state licensing board.
Choice of Law and Jurisdiction. In the event of any dispute or litigation, these Terms and Conditions will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, irrespective of any conflict of law rules. Registrants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courts situated in the State Florida. This provision will remain in effect even after the relationship between the parties has ended.
Attorneys’ Fees. In the event that any action or proceeding (including, but not limited to, any alternative dispute resolution mechanism agreed upon by the parties) is initiated in connection with these Terms and Conditions, the prevailing party will be entitled to recover its costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees. This provision will remain in effect even after the termination of the relationship between the parties.
Security Measures: All classrooms and registration desks are monitored with audio and video recording equipment. These security measures are partially in place to oversee the hands-on training component and to assist FITI personnel. Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings, and FITI assumes no liability for any lost or stolen items.
Seminar Rules and Safety: FITI has established strict protocols for the handling of needles, sharps, biohazards, and the procedures involved in various training activities. These rules will be communicated to participants before each hands-on training session.
If a participant behaves in a manner that may be harmful to others or is disruptive, or fails to follow the instructor’s directions or guidelines, the participant may be asked to leave the training program without a refund. The designated instructor and their support team will have the final say in such matters. While this is a rare occurrence, it’s important to understand that the safety and well-being of FITI personnel and participants are our top priorities. If these terms and conditions seem unreasonable or excessive to you, we kindly ask that you reconsider registering for any hands-on training course. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with FITI’s commitment to maintaining a safe and effective training environment.
Hands-on Training: FITI is committed to training healthcare professionals safely and effectively, largely due to our strict guidelines and protocols for hands-on training. By participating in an FITI event, you agree to follow the supervision and direction of FITI’s physician instructors at all times during the training.
Physician Supervision: During all training programs, the FITI physician instructor (“Instructor”) will have the final authority to determine whether an attendee is permitted to perform a procedure on a patient. Additionally, the instructor will assess whether the attendee has demonstrated a sufficient level of competency to be awarded the graduation certificate.
The instructor’s decision will be based on various factors, including but not limited to patient safety, participant safety, the participant’s licensure status, legal guidelines, and the participant’s competence as assessed by the instructor.
Video and Photography during all Events: All training programs are photographed and recorded for various purposes, including but not limited to, providing educational videos to participants, creating video testimonials, and for marketing and other business-related educational uses. All participants, guests, exhibitors, and visitors to the training programs acknowledge that they may be photographed or videotaped for use in any medium. FITI reserves the right to use the edited or finished product for any legitimate purpose. By attending FITI training programs, you grant FITI the unconditional right to capture and use such images and recordings, as well as the perpetual right to use your likeness, image, or photograph (collectively referred to as “photo”) without compensation or payment of any kind.
You agree to waive and permanently release FITI from any and all claims or actions arising from the use of your photo.
Important Disclaimer: Enrollment in a training program does not guarantee that the enrolled licensed healthcare professional is competent to perform a procedure. The participant agrees to hold FITI and its affiliated entities, along with their respective shareholders, members, directors, managers, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates (collectively referred to as “Indemnitees”), harmless from any losses, liabilities, or negative outcomes that may arise from the actions or procedures of an attendee.
Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the licensed healthcare professional to understand and comply with all applicable laws and guidelines in the state where they practice medicine or provide healthcare services. Indemnitees cannot be held responsible for any violations committed by an attendee. Attendees must also be aware of the limitations of their professional license concerning the newly learned procedures.
