Objetive
The preparation lasts five days. One week or five classes on Saturday’s classes. The exam consists of two parts:

The theoretical part consists of 90 questions covering six main categories of the cardiovascular and electrocardiogram branch. Each examinee has 120 minutes (2 hours) to complete the exam.
In the practical part, the candidate has 15 minutes to perform an electrocardiogram correctly. The practical exam will be evaluated by a qualified healthcare professional.
* The candidate must pass both parts to receive their certification.
The NAHT certification is valid for 2 years and must be renewed before the expiration date. Renewals must be accompanied by 12 hours of continuing education on health-related topics.

Safety, HIPPA and OSHA Rules of protection and safety to the patient. Principles and procedures for infection control. Hand washing technique. Universal precautions. OSHA regulations
Day 3
Techniques in ECG or EKG
Electrodes are placed on the chest to record the electrical signals from the heart that cause the heart to beat. Signals are displayed as waves on an attached computer monitor or printer
Day 4
Laboratory and procedure with equipment.
Your healthcare professional places several electrodes (small sensors that stick to your skin) on your arms, legs, and chest. Before doing this, you may need to shave or trim excess hair. The electrodes are connected by wires to a computer that records the heart’s electrical activity – the activity is displayed on the computer monitor and printed on paper.
Day 5 Exam
The exam is divided into two parts, a written part via computer and a practical part examined by a health professional.
