AGE REQUIREMENTS

- Introduction
1.1. Florida International Training Institute, Inc. (“We,” “Us,” “Our,” “Company”) provides educational and training services to the Student (“You” or “Your”) in accordance with these Terms & Conditions (the “Agreement”).
1.2. The Company is a legally registered business organized under the laws of Florida, operating under applicable governing law.
- Definitions
2.1. “Agreement” means these Terms & Conditions, including any incorporated Enrollment Agreement, application, or program catalog.
2.2. “Confidential Information” means all non-public information disclosed between the parties, including but not limited to student records, communications, and proprietary instructional materials.
2.3. “Enrollment Agreement” means any written or electronic document signed by the Student and the Company detailing the program, tuition, fees, schedule, and applicable terms.
2.4. “Start Date” means the date the Student begins attending the program, as confirmed in the Enrollment Agreement.
2.5. “Service” means the educational programs and related services outlined in the applicable Enrollment Agreement, as well as the Website.
- Supply of Services
3.1. The Company provides vocational and technical training programs designed to prepare students for careers in the skilled trades, including classroom instruction, hands-on training, and related educational services, as described in the Enrollment Agreement and program catalog.
- Student Obligations
4.1. The Student shall provide timely cooperation and accurate, complete, and lawful information reasonably required for the Company to process the Student’s application and enrollment and to provide the Services.
4.2. The Student shall indemnify, defend, and hold the Company harmless against any losses, damages, claims, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from inaccurate, misleading, incomplete, or unlawful information provided by the Student, or from the Student’s breach of this Agreement.
4.3. The Student is responsible for attending scheduled classes, following all school policies and safety rules, and conducting themselves respectfully toward instructors, staff, and fellow students.
- Tuition, Fees, Payments, and Refunds
5.1. The Student agrees to pay all tuition and fees as outlined in the applicable Enrollment Agreement, according to the payment schedule stated in that agreement.
5.2. Any additional costs, including but not limited to books, tools, uniforms, or licensing and certification exam fees, are the sole responsibility of the Student unless otherwise specified in the Enrollment Agreement.
5.3. Cancellations and refunds are governed by the Student’s Enrollment Agreement and the Company’s published refund policy, in accordance with applicable Florida law.
- Termination
6.1. This Agreement commences on the Start Date and continues until completion of the program or termination in accordance with this Section.
6.2. The Company may terminate this Agreement upon written notice if:
- Payment remains unpaid for fifteen (15) days after written notice; or
- The Student materially breaches this Agreement or school policies and fails to cure such breach within thirty (30) days of notice.
6.3. The Student may withdraw from the program by contacting the Company directly, subject to the terms of the Enrollment Agreement and refund policy.
6.4. The Company reserves the right to suspend or dismiss a Student who engages in unsafe, unlawful, or abusive conduct.
- Liability and Indemnity
7.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company’s total liability under this Agreement shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
7.2. The Company shall not be liable for:
- Guaranteed employment, job placement, or specific salary outcomes after completion of a program
- Results of licensing or certification exams administered by third parties
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of income or business interruption
7.3. The Student shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its employees, instructors, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from the Student’s use of the Services or breach of this Agreement.
- Governing Law
8.1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
8.2. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Florida.
8.3. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
8.4. This Agreement, together with the Enrollment Agreement, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings. In the event of a conflict, the Enrollment Agreement shall control.
- Website Terms of Service
9.1. Website Usage: The website located at https://fitischools.edu (the “Site”) is owned and operated by the Company. By accessing or using the Site, You agree to be bound by this Agreement, the Privacy Policy, and any additional terms applicable to specific services.
9.2. Changes to Terms: The Company reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
9.3. Intellectual Property Rights:
Our Limited License to You: All content, materials, trademarks, and intellectual property on the Site are owned by or licensed to the Company and are provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
Your License to Us: By submitting content to the Company, You grant the Company a non-exclusive license to use such content for business purposes.
9.4. Disclaimers: The Site and Services are provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind. The Company is not responsible for third-party content or services.
- SMS COMMUNICATIONS & OPT-OUT
You may cancel SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message. Upon receipt of STOP, We will confirm Your opt-out status, and You will no longer receive SMS messages from Us.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
To rejoin, You must opt in again through the original enrollment method.
